In todays society the government is a common scape goat. That is not to say that it is unjustified to assume that they are in the wrong because lets face it they have been wrong many times. But it goes much farther then just skin deep. Who holds the money holds the real power. This is a good summerization of the current political theology: “Who controls the food supply controls the people. Who controls the energy can control whole continents. Who controls money controls the whole world”. -Henry KissingerThe scary truth is that the line between the corporate world and the goverments has slowly faded.Why is this so… What does improving the lives of the people, or foreign affairs have to do with making money? Mahatma Gandhi once said: “What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy?” Americas moto: “By the people, for the people”. What ever happened to the people. If we want change they have to listen to us, thats what a democracy is isnt it. But if we dont start wanting change we are going to lose are chance; this is because we are becoming too comfortable with what are government is doing. Years ago we were fighting facism and communism, yet we are starting to look like those enemies we once opposed. Even freedom of speach is slowly being taken away from us without our knowledge… Huge news agencies now control what we see and hear. Rupert Murdoch a international media executive who owns Fox News, as well as many newspapers in the U.K. is a prime example of whats happening in todays media. You think your hearing the news but in fact your hearing what the people who own the news corporations want you to hear. For example when the United States was building up for the invasion of Iraq in 2003 all 175 of Murdochs newspapers world wide published articles in favor of the war. Think for yourself people, take everyhting with a grain of salt. Even what I say is biased in some way or another. I have just formulated my opinion based on someone elses which is basically what we all do isnt it… nothing is original anymore. You dont have to agree with me just THINK…-Tyler Daly
